Billing and licensing
How ClientRadar's paid plans work: activating a license key, what Pro and Max include, how payments and refunds are handled through Link (our merchant of record), and moving your license.
ClientRadar’s paid plans unlock through a license key, and payments are handled by Link, LLC as our merchant of record (Sold through Link, LLC — Stripe’s merchant of record). There is no separate account system to manage inside ClientRadar — you buy a plan, you get a key, you paste it in. This page covers the whole flow, plus refunds and cancellation, honestly and without surprises.
How licensing works
When you buy Pro or Max, your license key appears on the welcome page right after checkout — and we also email it to you (check your spam folder if it’s not there in a minute). Copy it somewhere safe. Lost your key? You can re-send it to yourself any time at getclientradar.com/resend — just enter the email you used at checkout. If that doesn’t reach you, email hello@getclientradar.com with your Link receipt (your proof of purchase — the charge shows as LINK.COM* on your statement) and we’ll help. In ClientRadar, open Settings, paste the key into the license field, and activate. ClientRadar validates the key and switches your tier over immediately — nothing to reinstall, no restart. For a first-time walkthrough alongside install, see Install ClientRadar and activate your license.
Your tier controls two things: your AI credit allowance (see Free tier and AI credit caps) and, on Max, coverage of all four platforms. The exact platforms and limits per plan are on the pricing page.
Payments and refunds
Link, LLC is our merchant of record (Sold through Link, LLC — Stripe’s merchant of record): it processes the payment, handles VAT globally including the UK, and issues your receipt; the charge appears as LINK.COM* on your card statement. Business buyers can enter a business name and VAT ID at checkout. Prices shown are exclusive of tax — VAT is added where applicable. ClientRadar never sees or stores your card details — that stays with the merchant of record.
Refunds follow the published refund policy and are issued by Link. If you are within the refund window, email us at hello@getclientradar.com and we will take care of it.
Cancelling and downgrading
Invoices, receipts and card changes live with the merchant of record. Sign in at link.com with the email you used at checkout to download your receipts and VAT invoices, update your card, change your billing address, or cancel. Link also emails the receipt and invoice as PDF attachments right after each payment — check your spam folder if they’re not in your inbox.
You can cancel any time: sign in at link.com, open ClientRadar’s Manage billing option (in License & about), or email hello@getclientradar.com, to update payment details or cancel. Cancelling stops future charges; your plan keeps working to the end of the period you have already paid for, then drops back to the free tier. Your leads, notes and pipeline live in your browser’s local storage, so they stay with you through any change — downgrading changes your limits, not your data.
If a key won’t activate
If a license key does not activate, check you copied the whole key with no stray spaces, and try again in a moment in case of a brief network hiccup. If it still will not take, open Help & support in the ClientRadar sidebar and email us — the diagnostic bundle it attaches includes your tier and status (never your leads), so we can see exactly what is happening with the activation.
