Install ClientRadar and activate your license

ClientRadar is a Chrome extension, so getting started is the normal add-from-the-store flow — no separate download, no account to create before you can look around. You can run on the free tier immediately, and add a license key later to unlock more. This guide covers install, first open, and activating a paid plan.

1. Install from the Chrome Web Store

Open the ClientRadar listing on the Chrome Web Store and click Add to Chrome. Chrome will ask you to confirm with Add extension — that grants the extension the permissions it needs to read the feeds you already belong to, from your own browser. Installation takes a few seconds, and the ClientRadar icon pins to your toolbar.

2. Open the dashboard

Click the ClientRadar icon in your Chrome toolbar. The dashboard opens in its own tab. The first time you open it, ClientRadar runs a short setup so it understands what you do and which feeds to watch — this is where you set up your Persona and pick your platforms. 3. Start free, or activate a paid license

You do not need a key to begin. On the free tier you can see that leads exist and get a feel for the product right away, with a few full leads a day and the best leads scored but locked. What the free tier includes — and where the caps sit — is covered in Free tier and AI credit caps.

To unlock Pro or Max:

1. Open Settings in ClientRadar.
2. Paste the license key from your purchase confirmation email into the license field.
3. Activate. ClientRadar validates the key and switches your tier over immediately — there is nothing to restart.

4. Confirm you’re set up

Back on the dashboard, check two things: your plan tier shows what you expect, and at least one platform is connected (the Networks view shows each platform’s status). From there, connect the platforms you want — Facebook, Reddit, X, LinkedIn — and let the radar run across the day.

If activation doesn’t take

If a license key does not activate, first check you copied the whole key with no extra spaces. Keys are validated against our licensing provider, so a brief network hiccup can also cause it — try again in a moment. If it still will not activate, open Help & support in the ClientRadar sidebar and email us; the diagnostic bundle it attaches carries your tier and status (never your leads), so we can see what happened.
